Italian zoodles are a Whole30 compliant pasta alternative. Classic Italian flavors are combined in a tomato sauce that pairs perfectly with the zucchini noodles.
In a medium pan, brown ground beef. Once beef is cooked through, remove from pan with slotted spoon and dispose of the remaining liquid. Bring the same pan to medium high heat and add olive oil. Add garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook until fragrant, about 1 to 2 minutes.
Add the cherry tomatoes to the pan. Cook for 10–15 minutes, or until tomatoes have broken down. Stir every few minutes and crush the tomatoes as they soften, to create a chunky sauce.
Add the ground beef back to the pan and stir to combine with the tomato sauce. Finally, lower the heat to low and add the zoodles. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Cook for 1–2 minutes, or until the dish is heated through.
