Make sweet iced tea for a crowd.
In a Dutch oven over high heat, bring water to boiling. Remove from heat. Wait 5 minutes, then add the tea bags. Cover and let stand 5–10 minutes. Remove tea bags; do not squeeze. Stir in sugar. Cool completely.
Prepare tea by adding ice and water to a pitcher. Pour in syrup to taste. Makes about 4-5 gallons sweet tea.
