The perfect frosting for decorating cakes, cupcakes, even sugar cookies, using piping bags and tips. This yummy frosting sets up crisp and is my go-to decorating frosting. Will liberally frost 24 cupcakes.
Mix all ingredients together with an electric mixer. You will have to mix longer than you would think is necessary to make it come together, without lumps. When adding the corn syrup, just add 1 tablespoon first. If needed, add the second tablespoon. Color as desired and frost about 24 cupcakes (a few more if you are just spreading it on). Sprinkles are a must!
For decorating ideas, please check the link to my blog above. I’ve also shared some easy piping tips.
Note: this would even be good with peppermint or cherry extract added.

Yum! I especially liked the fact that this recipe doesn’t use Crisco. The almond flavor was perfect! I think I’ll try a less/no corn syrup and more milk next time, though, to cut the sweet a little. Thanks so much for sharing this delightful recipe!

Great frosting! Just used it on sugar cookies. I used whipping cream instead of milk because I had it on hand. I thinned mine out alot so I could use the flooding technique. I will be using this again on cakes and such! Thanks!
