Banana cake topped with melted chocolate.
Preheat oven to 350 F.
In a large mixing bowl, start by mixing the seeds from the vanilla pod, sugar and eggs into a fluffy mass. Add flour, melted butter, baking powder and the blended bananas and mix again.
Cover the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper and pour in the dough. Bake for 45 minutes in a 350 F oven. Remove from oven.
Let the cake cool completely before you cover it with the melted chocolate chips. (If desired, you could also add the chocolate chips into the dough instead, before you bake the cake.)
