Wonderfully delicious on a sheet pan cake, double layer cake, cupcakes, or sugar cookies.
In a mixing bowl and using a hand mixer (or stand mixer), add softened cream cheese and maple syrup. Mix together on low speed. Add confectioners sugar a small amount at a time to incorporate. Run mixer on high for a few minutes to cream together.
Once mixed well, fold in cashew pieces. Cover mixing bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to use.
We love this frosting on a chocolate double layer 9-inch cake. Hope you’ll enjoy!
