This recipe has also been in the family for quite a while. However, I will take the credit for being the first one to add chocolate chips to it (of course). Not only is the recipe simple and straightforward, the results are delicious and guilt-free—except maybe for the chocolate chips.
Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, beat together the butter and sugar with an electric mixer. Add the egg and mashed bananas; mix well. Add the flour mixture and continue to beat until combined, and then mix in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into a prepared bundt pan and bake at 375ºF for about 30 minutes. Cool for about 5 minutes before enjoying!
