Makes a small batch in our Cuisinart automatic ice cream maker.
Whisk together the sugar, eggs, almond milk, and vanilla until sugar is dissolved. Add cream. Transfer to freezing bowl of automatic ice cream maker and freeze until desired soft-serve consistency, about 25 minutes. Serve immediately, or place canister in freezer 1-2 hours to make hard ice cream.
When you have the ice cream canister stored in the freezer, this is a quick recipe to make for a topping over any home-baked crisp, cake, or pie.
