Description

This dessert is so rich and decadent. It has wonderfully rich ingredients and is very satisfying! Indulge yourself!

Ingredients

  • 15-½ ounces, weight Oreos (crushed)
  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 1 stick Butter, Softened
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 boxes (small 4-serving Size) Vanilla Pudding, Instant
  • 3 cups Milk
  • 12 ounces, weight Cool Whip

Preparation

Begin by crushing your Oreos. You want to get them pretty fine, so feel free to use a food processor. If you don’t have a food processor, you can also just put them in a Ziploc bag and crush them with your rolling pin. Reserve 1/4 cup of crushed Oreo’s to put on top after you have finished assembling your trifle.

Make a layer of crushed Oreos in the bottom of your trifle dish (or whatever dish you are using).

Next, combine cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar.

In another mixing bowl, whisk the instant pudding into the milk. Continue whisking until it is creamy and smooth and then add it into your cream cheese mixture.

Once you have your cream cheese mixture and pudding mixture blended together well, gently fold in the Cool Whip. Try to be gentle, so as to not break down the Cool Whip.

Now, take and spoon a layer of this on top of your first Oreo layer and smooth out. Then repeat with a layer of Oreos and another layer of pudding/cream cheese mixture. Continue to alternate the layers until you are out of ingredients or your dish is full, making sure to end up with the pudding/cream cheese mixture as your top layer.

If you want to top it with a little extra Cool Whip, feel free. Take the reserved Oreo crumbs and sprinkle over the top to finish it off!

Enjoy this beautiful creation!
