Nutty blondies you can take over the top with the warm, rich Nutella sauce. Oh em gee.
In a mixing bowl, beat butter with brown sugar for about 2-3 minutes.
Add eggs one at a time. Beat in vanilla. Slowly add flour, baking powder and salt and mix just until combined. Fold in hazelnuts. Mixture will be very thick.
Press batter into a parchment paper-lined 13×9 baking dish (use hands to press it evenly). Bake in a 350ºF oven for about 25 minutes. Remove and cool slightly (about 20 minutes).
Meanwhile, make Nutella sauce. Beat butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, Nutella and cream until blended. Pour (frosting-like consistency) into a microwave safe bowl. When ready to serve, heat in the microwave for 1 minute.
Assemble by cutting blondies into large squares. Top with ice cream (optional) and drizzle with warm Nutella sauce. Enjoy!
Store blondies in an airtight container. Store Nutella sauce in a bowl with a lid in the refrigerator. Reheat in the microwave and give it a stir before serving. Yummy!
