My family and co-workers ALWAYS request this for a dinner or potluck. It is decadently rich and ridiculously yummy!
In your first bowl, mix the entire pudding package and the 2 cups of milk. Let the mixture sit while you prepare the second mixture.
I use my standing mixer, but I’m sure a hand mixer would work just as well. In a large mixing bowl, mix the entire package of cream cheese, whole can of sweetened, condensed milk, vanilla, bananas and nutmeg/cinnamon until blended completely. Fold pudding mixture into cream cheese mixture. Finally, gently fold entire container of whipped cream into the pudding/ cream cheese mixture. The filling should be fuffy and dense.
In a cute trifle bowl or punch bowl, layer the Chessman cookies and the filling, lasagna style. When you’ve used all the ingredients, crumble a couple of the cookies over top of the pudding. The bananas can tend to turn into brown specks throughout the pudding if not blended enough into the cream cheese mixture.
I have used banana cream pudding mix in place of the French vanilla, and it is still wonderful! Very rich and yummy and oh soo worth it. Enjoy!

I’ll be trying this soon. LOVE the use of Chessman Cookies instead of vanilla wafers!!

Can you tell me if the cream cheese is an 30z or a 8 oz. I am wanting to try this recipe this coming weekend. It sounds delish. Thanks for the help and the recipe.

Mmmm… Very much like Paula Deen’s Not Yo Mama’s Banana Pudding!
