Description
This is an easy, delicious cake that always turns out great but can be difficult to get out of the pan in one piece.
Ingredients
- 1-½ stick Melted Butter
- 2 cups Sugar
- 2 cups Raw Diced Peeled Apples
- 1 cup Chopped Pecans
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
- 2 cups Self-Rising Flour
- FOR THE GLAZE:
- 1 cup Dark Brown Sugar
- ¼ cups Milk
- ⅓ sticks Butter
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350F.
Mix all ingredients and bake in a greased tube pan for 1 1/2 hours.
Prepare glaze by combining glaze ingredients; cook for 5 minutes. Pour hot glaze over hot cake in pan. Let set until cold, then carefully remove cake from pan.
