This is a slightly sweet and spicy flavor that is addictive. They are slightly sticky. You can use whatever hot sauce you prefer. I use habanero.
1. Bring all but the pecans to a simmer in a non-stick saucepan. Continue to to simmer until reduced by a third to form a syrup.
2. While reducing, lightly toast the pecans in the oven.
3. Toss the toasted pecans in the syrup, and spread on a wax paper to set.
