Description

Walking Tacos are an easy way to throw dinner together on a whim with a huge impact. Kids love them, they’re easy to clean up and it’s fun to have your dinner on the go … any where!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef, Chicken Or Steak
  • 1 package Taco Seasoning, 1 Ounce Packet
  • ¼ cups Water
  • 6 bags Frito's Chips (individual Sized Bags)
  • 1 cup Lettuce, Shredded
  • 1 can Refried Beans, 16 Ounce Can
  • 1 cup Cheese, Shredded
  • ½ cups Sour Cream
  • Salsa, For Topping (optional)

Preparation

Brown beef, chicken or steak on stove over medium heat. Once browned, add seasoning and water and stir to combine. Reduce heat and keep warm while you prepare the rest of the dish.

Cut up your lettuce, shred the cheese and assemble your desired toppings.

Open bag of chips and layer meat, cheese, toppings and beans to your desire.

You can make the same Walking Taco over and over again or try something new every time!

I love Chili Cheese Fritos – why have I never thought to use them in my walking tacos?!? Yum.

I love it! We used to eat these at my brother’s little league games… but we used chili and called them “Frito Boats”. I’m going to bring these back and try the Walking Taco style.

This is quick, easy, and good. My family likes to use doritos instead of Fritos sometimes.
