This is a simple, delicious glaze that can be thrown together in under 5 minutes. I think it would be delicious on steak or chicken as well as salmon!
Whisk all ingredients together. Marinate salmon fillet in half the glaze, then grill, pan sear, broil or bake it, basting the fillet with the remaining glaze periodically while cooking.
Serve with your favorite sides!
Note: If you don’t have fig preserves, you could substitute honey, agave nectar, or brown sugar, but I would really recommend the preserves!
