Description
This is a reliably yummy recipe that has been around as long as the church potluck. Simple, yet delicious!
Ingredients
- 20 ounces, weight Crushed Pineapple, Undrained
- 15 ounces, weight Canned Fruit Cocktail, Undrained
- 1 box (18.25 Oz. Box) Yellow Cake Mix
- 1 cup Chopped Pecans
- 1 stick Butter, Melted
Preparation
Grease a 9×13″ baking dish and preheat oven to 350F. Dump and spread pineapple evenly into the pan. Dump and spread the fruit cocktail on top of the crushed pineapple. Dump the yellow cake mix and spread fairly evenly on top of the fruit cocktail layer. Top the cake mix layer with chopped pecans. Pour melted butter over the top. Bake about an hour, or until done.
Top with toasted coconut if you really wanna be naughty.
