Ingredients
- 2 pounds Ground Beef
- 1 cup Diced White Onion
- 29 ounces, fluid Can Tomato Sauce
- 29 ounces, fluid Kidney Beans (with Liquid)
- 29 ounces, fluid Can Pinto Beans (with Liquid)
- ½ cups Diced Green Chilied (2 Chilies)
- ½ cups Diced Celery (2 Stalks)
- 3 whole Medium Tomatoes, Chopped
- 3 Tablespoons Chili Powder
- 2 teaspoons Ground Cumin
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 cups Water
- 1-½ teaspoon Black Pepper
Preparation Instructions
In a large, heavy, stock pot, brown ground beef, add onions. Drain off fat.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer over low heat. Cook, stirring every 15 minutes, for 2 to 3 hours.
*Makes about 12 servings. I usually freeze half for later.
