Description

Not your mama’s french fries. These are a nice grown up version. Spicy and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Basil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • 2  Eggs
  • ½ cups Milk
  • 2 Tablespoons Sriracha Sauce
  • 1 whole Eggplant
  • 4 cups Corn Oil (canola Or Veggie Is Acceptable)

Preparation

Mix flour together with spices in one bowl and set aside.

Mix eggs, milk and sriracha sauce together in another bowl. Set aside.

Cut your eggplant up in strips like French fries.

Put your oil in a pan and bring it to a good sizzle.

Take your fries and dunk them in flour mixture.

Now dunk them in egg mixture.

Now dunk them again in flour mixture.

Drop carefully into hot oil.

Cook for about 3 to 4 minutes, or golden brown.

Remove them from the pan and blot with a paper towel.

Serve with a smile.

Tried this tonight, it’s delicious!! The kids loved it too and my Husband wants me to try the breading mix on duck and some other veggies as well. Safe to say it was a big hit :)
