Description

A simple fried rice that anyone can make at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Ginger, Grated
  • ½ cups Scallions, Sliced Plus Extra For Garnish If Desired
  • 4 cups Cooked Rice (I Used Basmati)
  • 3 whole Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy

Preparation

In a large skillet, heat oils over medium-high heat. Add ginger and scallions and cook until fragrant, about two minutes.

Add rice and stir to combine. Crack eggs into a bowl and lightly beat with a fork. Pour over rice and stir to combine. Cook until egg is set.

Add soy. Stir to combine and serve. Garnish with fresh scallions.

Easy and tasty! My preference is brown rice so that’s what I used. Next time, I may increase the amount of ginger (love it!) and just add a dash of soy sauce. I thought the flavor overpowered the ginger a bit the first time around.
