Apple Cake with Spiced Cream Cheese Frosting

by lizzygoesdutch and filed in Cakes, Desserts

My Grammy makes this cake every Thanksgiving and Christmas. I added some pumpkin pie spices to the frosting this time and boy was it delicious!

A super fast dinner entree. By using stuffing and gravy that is already prepared, its a cinch.

Poached Seckel Pears

by passionatecocinera and filed in Desserts, Fruit Desserts

I want to share one of my most special yet simple dessert recipe. I use seckel pears because they do not get soggy when poached. And they have a little tartness that goes really nicely with the poaching liquid. The beauty of this recipe is that its simplicity is really what creates the big wow factor. I always get a compliment when I make this.

No-Bake Cookies

by Alison a.k.a. cutesybutton and filed in Cookies, Desserts

One of my favorite and fairly quick cookie recipes is No-Bake Cookies. They’re a relatively healthy and filling cookie due to the quick oats and are easy to pack for a school day snack. I won’t tell you the nickname we’ve given them until after you’ve tried them for yourselves!

Meet Nancy

Nancy is the Coupon Clipping Cook, which means she not only has an astounding number of recipes to share with us (her TK recipe box is busting at the seams!) but she's also got loads of money-saving tips in her blog (she worked at a grocery store for a number of years, so she knows her stuff). She has some pretty amazing creations, like Roasted Garlic Potato Soup and Nutty Coconut Chicken. Go check them out!

Meet Heather

Heather is a Texas native and the blogger behind Heather's Dish. She's mom to Weston, wife to Nate, and they live in Little Rock, Arkansas with their two "stubborn and saucy" dogs Bunker and Keira. In her blog, she shares her photographs, random musings (serious and silly alike), and all kinds of scrumptious recipes---and not just evil variations of her favorite mac and cheese. Her enviable TK recipe box is a testament to that. Go see for yourself!
