Place roast in crock pot. Add water and spices.
You may use a thawed or frozen roast for this recipe. If using frozen, cooking time will be 7-8 hours, on high. If using a fresh or thawed roast, cooking time will be 3-4 hours on high or 4-6 on low. You may have to experiment with cooking times.
Beef is ready when it falls apart and you can shred it with a fork. Serve on buns with mayonnaise or horseradish sauce. Enjoy!
