Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a 4-cup liquid measure, combine all ingredients except onion and chicken.
Arrange chicken in a single layer on an oven-safe pan that you can cover. Place sliced onions on top of chicken and pour sauce over the top of the chicken.
Bake for approximately 1 hour, or until chicken is cooked through.
