A sweet and savory corn casserole that will change your opinion of the relative who carted it up your sidewalk. Picture your worst in-law holding the best casserole on this planet. Love is the only answer, as long as you have this dish on the table. People will sob and beg for the recipe. So much better than those corn casseroles with Jiffy mix. Trust me. You have died and gone to corn heaven.

If you’re looking for a special Christmas morning breakfast, you’ve come to the right place. These adorable little boys have become a tradition at family gatherings and at our B&B. Everyone loves them and all of their maple-y goodness.
These are perfect for making on Christmas Eve night and then refrigerating and baking the next morning.

Cake balls have truly been this year’s baking craze, and with good reason. They’re delicious, they’re cute and they’re delicious.

Mint meringues with chocolate chips. Light as air and melt in your mouth! A Christmas favorite. “Forgotten” because you leave them in the oven overnight. And “kisses” for their shape.

When you think of Christmas sugar cookies, brown sugar and spices may not come immediately to mind. But these ingredients make simply an outstanding cookie. I usually roll out my dough fairly thick and the result is a soft, slightly crisp and buttery cookie that is a lightly spiced taste of Christmas. And when you layer on a heavy coat of cream cheese frosting, you do indeed have something very special.

I make these every Christmas and always get lots of compliments on them. Very fun to have the kiddos help you make too.

Looks adorable!
May I ask … How do you store them and how long do they keep? Does the cherry begin to turn bad?

I’ve made these for years and they’re always a hit at holiday parties! I never thought to rest them on cookies, though. Brilliant idea!

My three oldest daughters and I made this recipe last night and it was so much fun!
We did use gingersnaps rather than oreo’s though, just because we couldn’t break them apart without messing up the cream.
They are so cute (but really kind of gave me the heebie-jeebies when they were all lined up on the plate together! Kind of like the scene from Ratatouille)

Just made these this morning with my two oldest (7 & 9 years old) They had such a fun time – and just loved their army of mice. They started telling stories – the fat one they called Gus, the one facing the all the rest became the leader, the smallest was the runt. They kids loved this holiday activity. Thank you so much for sharing!
