Spiked Berry Lemonade

To make the simple syrup add water and sugar into a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer until sugar dissolves, about 2 minutes. Take pan off the heat and allow syrup to cool completely. Place it in the freezer in a different container to cool quicker.

Add cooled simple syrup, lemon juice, vodka, triple sec, strawberries, blueberries and mint into a large pitcher. Stir to combine.

Pour the lemonade into glasses. Top each glass with 1 ounce of sparkling water per glass. This is optional but gives the lemonade a nice fizz. Add the sparkling water into the serving glass and not into the pitcher to ensure the drink does not go flat. Enjoy!
