Description

Indulge with your girlfriends on these lightened-up beer margaritas, perfect for any party!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE LIMEADE:
  • 2 whole Limes, Zested
  • 1-½ cup Water
  • ½ cups Splenda Sugar Blend
  • 1 cup Fresh Lime Juice
  • FOR THE BEER-GARITAS:
  • 2 cups Limeade (From Above)
  • 2 bottles (12 Oz. Size) Light Beer
  • ½ cups Tequila

Preparation

For the limeade:
Zest the limes. In a large saucepan, combine water, Splenda and lime zest and heat until Splenda is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool at room temperature. Stir in lime juice and freeze your limeade concentrate until ready to use.

To make the beer-garitas:
In a pitcher, combine frozen limeade, beer and tequila. Place pitcher in the freezer overnight until frozen through, then mix so that it is in slushy form and serve. Enjoy!

So loved this! We love beer margaritas, but I don’t like all the calories that come from the limeade we use, so this was great for me!! I cut way back on the lime zest as I don’t love the texture of it in my drink, and I played around a bit with the syrup because I used plain liquid stevia rather than a powder blend, but it turned out awesome. Thanks, Kelly!!
