Add 2 ounces of pink grapefruit juice into two champagne flutes. Top each with 2 ounces (or more to taste) of champagne of choice. Serve cold.
Notes:
– Champagne doesn’t go flat as quickly as non-alcoholic carbonated beverages so this drink can be made up to 30 minutes in advance with no problem. That way you can get it nice and cold, refrigerating before serving.
– Pink grapefruit juice works best in this recipe when freshly squeezed. – For additional sweetness, honey or simple syrup can be added.
– To make it a little more fancy, rim the glasses in sparkly sanding sugar.
