Peaches are everywhere and a margarita is a great way to end a day. So why not combine them and enjoy a Peach Margarita on your deck or patio.
If making lime sugar: Add finely minced lime zest to the granulated sugar and set aside for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
For a nice presentation, coat the rims of the glasses you are using with lime sugar (of course you can alternatively use plain white sugar). Do this by rubbing the rim with a lime wedge and then placing the rim into a plate that has the lime sugar in it until the rim is coated with sugar.
Place all margarita ingredients into a blender and puree. Add a little cold water if it is too thick. Either chill all ingredients before making or add some ice cubes after you have made the margarita and stir it until it is as cold as you like and strain it into your glasses (or just serve on the rocks!).

Oh yeah! I want me one (or two) of these and I would like some Grand Marnier instead of the Triple Sec!
It’s been a long HOT summer and I think I will drop by the package store and get the ingredients.

ecourtney – it is hard to make a margarita non alcoholic because it is essentially alcohol but I would recommend something like an agua fresca or fruit water which is 1 medium peach, a tablespoon or 2 of sugar, 1/2 cup of cold water or crushed ice and the juice of a small lime and blend. This is a delicious, refreshing drink and I have them all the time when peaches are in season.
