Description

A kind of winter lemonade that soothes sore throats and warms you to the bones.

Ingredients

  • 5 teaspoons Lemon Juice
  • 5 teaspoons Honey
  • 1 cup Hot Water

Preparation

1. Mix the lemon juice and honey into a mug full of hot water.

2. Taste and adjust with a little more honey or lemon juice. Some people like it a little sweeter, some a little more acidic.

3. Drink up! Feel good. Drink some more! Feel even better.

Tip: if you use fresh lemon juice, it’s that much awesome-er.

I use this also. It feels so good going down. I have always heard to add whiskey to it. I never have but I bet it would help you sleep right through that sore throat.

We do this here all the time when a sorethroat threatens to hit. Perfect remedy indeed.

I’m going to be making myself a big mug of this! I was wondering what to do about my scratchy throat and voice, and this is just the ticket! Thanks for a great winter time cup of comfort!
