Description

In addition to being slurp worthy, this drink recipe is also a great way to stretch out your champagne bottle! Yep, budget-friendly to boot! You’ll want to avoid using a brut or dry for this. Prosecco would even be wonderful. We all know how much I love my Prosecco!

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750ml Bottle) Champagne
  • 1 can (large 20 Oz. Can) Pineapple Chunks And Juice
  • 1 bottle (16 Oz. Bottle) POM Wonderful Pomegranate Juice
  • Sugar
  • ½ whole Lemon

Preparation

Place enough sugar into a small plate to make sugar rims on your glasses. Run a lemon wedge around the side of your glass and then dip into the sugar, making a sugar rim. Place 4-6 pieces of pineapple into the bottom of the glass. Fill glass with 1/4 of pineapple juice, 1/4 pomegranate juice and then remaining half with champagne. Garnish the rim with a piece of pineapple. Continue until all glasses are assembled!

Cheers!

I love these! You can also try a little chambord liquer instead of POM!

I made this on New Year’s Eve and it was delicious.
Make it all the time now and use Toadhollow Risque champagne.
