Description
A classic but slightly sweeter Manhattan cocktail using bourbon and high quality vermouth.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces, fluid Bourbon
- 1 ounce, fluid Vermouth (Anitca Formula Suggested)
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- 1 teaspoon Maraschino Cherry Juice (optional)
- Ice Cubes
- Maraschino Cherries, Optional For Garnish
Preparation
Combine bourbon through cherry juice in a cocktail shaker, add a few ice cubes, put the lid on and shake well. Pour into an Old Fashioned or other cocktail glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry (or two). Note that bourbon tastes sweeter as it warms up so the glass should be at room temperature.
