Description

This is a fun, simple dessert that I take to pot luck dinners all the time.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole 9x13 Pan Of Brownies, Baked And Cooled
  • 2-½ cups Milk
  • 2 packages Instant Cheese Cake Pudding
  • 1 package Toffee Bits
  • 1 container Cool Whip, 8 Ounces

Preparation

Cut brownies into 1″ squares. Prepare the pudding with milk. When thick, fold in Cool Whip.

In a trifle dish or bowl, layer half of the brownies, then half of the pudding, then sprinkle on half of the toffee bits, covering well. Layer again, ending with toffee bits. Refrigerate.

This is one of our family favorites too. So easy, pudding flavors can be changed (we usually use chocolate pudding) and sometimes use the chocolate covered toffee bits to really impress.

This has become THEE family favorite dessert and what my young adult children request for their birthday “cake.” Instead of using toffee bits, I use Skor bars that I crush in a ziploc bag with my marble rolling pin. I like this so much, I am going to try using this recipe to create a Red Velvet Trifle by swapping red velvet cake for the brownies : )
