Description

This cream cheese frosting is truly the sweetest, smoothest, most succulent frosting you will ever try. Perfect with Zucchini Cupcakes or Carrot Cake!

Ingredients

  • 1 package Cream Cheese (8 Oz.)
  • 1 stick Unsalted Butter (Room Temperature)
  • 4 cups Confectioners Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Preparation

Add all ingredients to large bowl and mix by hand until mostly combined. Grab handheld mixer and beat on medium speed for about one minute, or until you get a light, creamy consistency.

This cream cheese frosting worked perfectly on my batch of PW cinnamon rolls- yum! The frosting was very creamy, still easy to spread (especially on hot rolls), and not overly sweet. I threw the cream cheese and butter in the Kitchen Aid mixer first, then added the vanilla and finally the powdered sugar in 1 cup increments- with perfectly smooth results. Thank you for posting this recipe!

Very good! It wasn’t quite as thick as I had hoped, and it was a touch too sweet for me, but still very tasty.
