Description

This is my favorite cream cheese frosting of all time. It’s super creamy and not as sweet as most frostings. My friends have a hard time resisting eating it out of the jar!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
  • ⅔ cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

Preparation

Whip the cream till it has stiff peaks. Set aside.

Then whip the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract together (with any food colorings) and fold in the whipped cream last. Enjoy!

Ohhhh so you use cream! What a great idea! My husband does love my cream cheese frosting but this looks like something worth trying! Thank you!!

My family gave this version of cream cheese frosting a “thumbs up!” as another great variation of the classic. I think the recipe should read “whip the cream cheese till it has stiff peaks”, because it says to fold the cream in last. We enjoyed the light, sweet, taste with the added texture of the hint of brown sugar. Thank you!
