Tar Heel Pie

Recipe Description
I got this recipe on a vacation trip to North Carolina. It’s rich, delicious, and easy! Sure to satisfy the chocolate craving monster in all of us!
Preparation Instructions
Pour warm butter over chocolate chips and stir. Blend all remaining ingredients and stir into the chocolate chip mixture. Pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Top with whipped cream and enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1 stick Butter Or Margarine Melted
- 1 cup Chopped Pecans (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- ½ cups White Flour
- ½ cups White Sugar
- ½ cups Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs, Lightly Beaten
- 1 whole Pie Shell
- Whipped Cream For Topping
