Description

These brownies are the perfect indulgence.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Butter
  • 1-½ cup White Sugar
  • ¼ cups Milk
  • ⅓ cups Dark Chocolate Cocoa Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • ½ cups Sour Cream
  • 1-½ cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 2 whole Eggs

Preparation

Prepare your baking pans. Use either 2 square 8″ pans or one 9×13″ pan; lightly grease the pan(s).

First, combine butter, sugar and milk in a saucepan. Cook over low-medium heat until the ingredients have all combined together. Now pour in some dark chocolate cocoa powder and the vanilla extract. Stir and remove from heat. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Stir the chocolate mixture into the dry ingredients along with the sour cream. Beat two eggs together. Add a spoonful of the chocolate mixture from the mixing bowl; beat. Now pour the beaten eggs into the large mixing bowl and stir until all the ingredients are well combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until the center is set but still moist.

I didn’t like the texture of these brownies. It tasted like and had the consistency of cake.

I added 1/4 tsp of espresso powder and high quality cocoa powder and didn’t use all the sour cream and it was great. My husband and daughter loved them
