Description

You will want S’more of this delicious pie! No bonfire necessary!

Ingredients

  • 1 stick Softened Butter
  • ½ cups White Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 7 ounces, weight Container Of Marshmallow Creme
  • 8 whole (1.55 Oz Bars) Hershey's Chocolate Bars, Unwrapped
  • 1 cup Marshmallows
  • ¼ cups Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 9″ pie pan with baking spray.

In a large bowl beat butter and sugar together until combined, then add egg and vanilla and stir them in. Stir in flour, graham cracker crumbs and baking powder.

Divide the dough in half. Press half the dough in the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pie pan. Evenly spread the Marshmallow Creme over the bottom crust. Separate chocolate squares and place on top of the Marshmallow Creme. Place 1 cup of marshmallows on top.

Using the remaining crust, pat sections of dough on top of and around all the marshmallows (they will still show through and that is great!). Sprinkle with 1/4 cup chocolate chips, then bake 20 minutes until lightly browned.

Remove pan from oven and set it on a wire rack. Cool completely before cutting, or you will have a gooey mess. Not that I know …

Hi everyone, we made this today however we only used 3 chocolate bars instead of 8 and we also used 1 and a half cups of graham crackers instead of just one cup (we could have used more also, just preference). Also, we did not use the marshmallow fluff or the crust on top. Our pie turned out fantastic!!!

Made this today…Here are some reflections:
– chill dough before spreading in pan
– spray spatula with cooking spray to ease spreading
– Use a 10″ pie pan as it overflows a 9″
– I only used 2 XL bars of chocolate
Look forward to enjoying this loveliness at a bbq tonight.

tessks, I am so sorry to hear that! No, I have a standard pie pan, but maybe its 10 inches in stead of 9???

I used the entire 7oz of marshmallow cream and my pie overflowed during baking–it was over the sides and dropping onto (thankfully) my cookie sheet lined oven bottom. I’m serving it at a party tonite so haven’t tried it yet. Not too fussed, but was your pie plate a deep dish?

It was delicious! When I brought it to the family reunion, it was finished off almost instantly. Everyone wanted seconds! Just a warning though, this pie is really rich because it’s loaded with campfire goodness! Everything was fine until it came to washing the dishes. The marshmallow stuck on the pan and everything was sticky. I was told at the reunion that next time I should try an 8×8 pan instead of a round pan. Overall, this recipe was the best!!!

LOVED THIS RECIPE!! Very fast and easy. Crust was a little hard to “spread”, in both the bottom and on top, but I got it done. I used a 9*9 instead of pie pan. I don’t see how anyone could eat a whole piece of this in pie-form; waaay too rich! Delicious, and got a ton of compliments and requests for the recipe at a work lunch.
