Description

The perfect dessert to pack when you’re on the go and enjoying play time out in the sun this summer.

Ingredients

  • 5 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter, Divided
  • 20 ounces, weight Mini Marshmallows, Divided
  • ¼ teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Chocolate Extract
  • 1 cup Mini Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips, Divided
  • 1 cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 5 cups Rice Krispies Cereal

Preparation

Preheat oven to 500ºF. Line a 9×13 pan with tin foil and grease with 1 tablespoon of butter.

In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt remaining 4 tablespoons of butter. Add 3/4 of the marshmallows, stirring until melted. Remove from heat and add salt, vanilla, and chocolate extract.

Add 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips and all the graham cracker crumbs, then stir until well combined. Add cereal, stir until completely coated in marshmallow mixture.

Spread mixture into lined baking pan. Butter your fingers and press mixture down into pan. Cover the top with remaining marshmallows and bake for 2 to 3 minutes, or just until marshmallows start to turn brown.

Remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips. Place entire pan in refrigerator and allow to cool for 1 hour.

Remove foil from the baking pan, and cut into bars.
