Description

So easy and so good. I suggest you make them when you are going to have a lot of people to share them with, otherwise it could spell trouble!

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (9.25 Oz. Bag) Fritos
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Karo Syrup
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 package (12 Oz. Bag) Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Spread Fritos out in a layer on the sheet. Combine the sugar and syrup and heat to a boil. Boil for a few minutes until the sugar is dissolved completely. Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter. Pour over the Fritos in an even layer. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and allow to cool. These are easily cut into squares with a pizza cutter.

I tried it without the chocolate chips and it was fantastic – my 94 year old mom tried it with the chocolate chips and said I must try it with the choc chips – We all loved it. We had it for breakfast this morning – lunch yesterday with a glass of milk. It’s all gone or it would be supper tonight.

OH I must try this today – I make this with Special K regularly and I know it will be fantastic with Fritos. Thanks for sharing this.
