When she says let them cool, let them cool! The texture is pretty weird if you’re impatient. They’re richer than my type of brownie, but if you’re into fudgy brownies they rock. Really liked the salt contrast.

These are simply amazing! It’s the closest I’ve come to making brownies from scratch that taste like fudge brownies from a box! Yes, I’m “one of them” that likes my brownies from a box, but I think it may time I retire those boxes! Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

WOW! These are fantastic! After seeing them on the blog, I made them as soon as I got home (just finally bought a KA mixer, needed an excuse to use it for the first time!). They are *incredible*! I doubled the batch, made them in a 9×13 pan, and they came out perfect. I baked them for 25 minutes, then turned the pan, and baked another 20 minutes or so. I brought in a bunch for my coworkers this morning. One called to tell me that I could quit my job and make a fortune selling these lol
Excellent recipe, a keeper for sure. Thanks!

I made these of F&W website last week! They were awesome. I made them in a mini-muffin tin, baked for 14-15 min and topped each with crushed Himalayan sea salt when almost done baking. Let cool in muffin tin for 15 min. Yummy!!

These are the best “from scratch” brownies I have ever had. Hands down. Until last night, I thought box mixes was where it was at when it comes to brownies. Not anymore! I baked mine about 40 minutes and only cooled on the counter about 10 minutes before moving to the fridge. They are perfect! Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Yup. Will never buy a box again. Seriously the best homemade I’ve ever tasted. I doubled the batch, cooked it around 50-55 minutes (still gooey inside) and everyone LOOOOOOVED them. Thank you!

These brownies are delicious! Perfect mix of sweet with a touch of salt. Made them for a group and they were gone within a few minutes. Definitely will be making them again

These were great. I over-cooked them by accident so they weren’t as gooey as your picture shows but they were still delicious. I’ve been having trouble with my oven temperature so I didn’t remove them when I thought I should. Will make these again and see if I can’t get them to come out like your picture. I used dark cocoa and the darkness of the brownie got our taste buds going before we put them in our mouth.

I loved these! I like my chocolate rich, and I loved the salty zip. I think they were almost better the next day, when the salt had more time to meld with the brownie. Yummy!

I want to make these for a friends birthday so I made a test run and they are ahhhmazing!! The only problem I had was that the brownies stuck like crazy to the foil. I didnt have any PAM on hand and just buttered the foil but they still stuck. I cant wait to make these again but cant decide between leaving the foil out all together and just struggling with cutting them and making them look pretty or try the foil again this time with PAM. Please help any suggestions would be fantastic!
