Description

No chocolate. So chewy gooey and yummy! Adapted from Zatarain’s.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick Unsalted Butter
  • ¼ cups Sugar
  • ⅔ cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 whole Egg Yolk
  • 1 Tablespoon Corn Syrup
  • 1-½ teaspoon Root Beer Extract
  • ¼ teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ⅛ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ⅛ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1 cup Flour

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350.

Spray 8 x 8 pan with nonstick spray.

Melt butter over medium heat & cook for 3 minutes until lighty golden (a nonstick pan is really best). Take off heat, stir in sugars, then stir in all of the other ingredients until well mixed.

Spread in pan & bake 30-35 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
