A quick and easy no-bake dessert that tastes like the holiday season!
Take a 9 x 9 inch glass pan, and spray with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a pot of medium low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add in the marshmallows and immediately and continuously stir the mixture until all marshmallows are melted and smooth. Add in the cereal and mix until evenly coated.
Immediately pour mixture into prepared pan and using greased hands, spread the mixture evenly in the pan. Set aside to cool for 15-20 minutes.
In the meantime, combine the chocolate, butter and milk into a microwave safe bowl. In 15-second intervals, melt the chocolate, stirring after each interval. When completely smooth, add in the peppermint extract.
When the crispie treats are cool, cut into 1 1/2-inch squares. Dip each square into the chocolate mixture and sprinkle with the crushed candy cane pieces Repeat with all treats!
Allow to set for 10 minutes and enjoy!

She has some pretty amazing creations, like Roasted Garlic Potato Soup and Nutty Coconut Chicken. Go check them out!
Heather is a Texas native and the blogger behind Heather's Dish. She's mom to Weston, wife to Nate, and they live in Little Rock, Arkansas with their two "stubborn and saucy" dogs Bunker and Keira. In her blog, she shares her photographs, random musings (serious and silly alike), and all kinds of scrumptious recipes---and not just evil variations of her favorite mac and cheese. Her enviable TK recipe box is a testament to that. Go see for yourself!
