This recipe is a winner! Since I found it I’ve made it for 3 parties, it’s always been the first dessert gone and I’ve given out the recipe at each party! I now make it with a chocolate graham cracker crust, 1/3 the fat cream cheese and fat free cool whip and nobody can tell the difference. Thank you!

This was so yummy! I decided to be extra decadent and tossed some cut up Reece’s peanut butter cups in the pie shell before filling it. Devilish move that tastes like heaven!
Everyone raved about it. Thanks for the recipe!

oh. my. heavens!
This is delicious. And SOOOO easy! I doubled the recipe (with an oreo crust) and put it into a 9×13″ pan to feed a HUGE crowd! (camping with 25+ people!) Thanks for the recipe!

I love this pie! Not only was it easy to make, it tastes amazing. The creamy texture of this pie is what does it for me! I will be making it again very soon.

Absolutely delicious! I made this today for our dessert after our Christmas dinner and it was a huge hit! I used an Oreo crust and added some chopped Reese’s mini-peanut butter cups mixed it and it was to die for!
One thing, it was VERY thick before I added in the Cool Whip and I was worried that it wouldn’t incorporate correctly. However, after continuing to gently mix it, it all came together beautifully and had the most wonderful, smooth texture. Will definitely be making this again!!

This was a hit at our party! It was super easy to make. I used fat-free cool whip and crunch PB…yum!

So easy and very tasty. To the top, I added shaved chocolate and chopped peanuts. I made this for apieformikey! Thanks for sharing.

I had this recipe before and misplaced it. Thank you so much for adding this! What a yummy dessert!

I hate to ask this, but…do you think I could substitute real whipped cream for the Cool Whip? Have you ever tried that?

I’ve made this before and it’s crazy good! And VERY rich! Peanut Butter Pie is one of my husband’s favorite, and this is probably his favorite one that I’ve made.

I have the same recipe only mine uses 1.5 C powdered sugar instead of granulated and a cup of milk. I use a chocolate crust instead of graham cracker (I got great reviews from my family when I made the switch). I’m afraid the real whipped cream would separate if you used it.
I’ve made this with non-fat cream cheese, skim milk and non-fat whipped topping and had it taste just as awesome as the full-fat version!
I usually freeze mine and it’ll keep for a long time-or till you’re ready to eat it!

I have a similar pb recipe and my cousin also makes pb pie alot. I dk what her exact recipe is, but back around Christmas she tried using real whipped cream because she had some in the fridge (I assume you’re buying whipping cream and making your own) and the pie was not nearly as good as normal. It was quite runny and it didn’t taste as good as usual.

I have made this pie several times and usually use real whipped cream. It has never been a problem for me. It’s also yummy with mini chocolate chips added to the filling.

In your recipe you say to use a graham cracker pie crust but the picture has a chocolate one? Just confused…
periwinkle on 4.17.2010
Well there are chocolate graham crackers, so you can make a chocolate graham crust, or just use an oreo crust.
I’ll be making this recipe for dessert tonight, thank you!

Darn you for posting this recipe…..because I made it and ate some!
This is a VERY good, VERY easy, VERY rich pie. I did make two substitutions – I used an Oreo cookie pie crust – because chocolate and peanut butter just go together. I also used the Cool Whip Lite – because I thought any “lite” would be masked by the PB and the full fat cream cheese and sugar. I was right!
There are so many variations that you could do on this – add bit of reeses pb cups into the mix, magic shell as the top layer, etc….
But curses to you for putting me in the mood to make it! My hips are hating you!

This was fantastic! I made it for a party over the weekend and it was a hit! I bought a pre-made chocolate graham cracker crust, used the 1/3 of the fat cream cheese, fat free cool whip and reduced fat peanut butter (to make it a little less sinful) and it still came out perfect!
