Description

A wonderful gift to give during this holiday season. But better yet, it is a no-bake pie!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE CRUST:
  • 24  Oreo Cookies
  • 6 Tablespoons Melted Butter
  • FOR THE FILLING:
  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 package (8 Oz. Size) Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • FOR THE TOPPING:
  • ⅓ cups Caramel Sauce
  • ⅓ cups Crushed Molasses Chocolates

Preparation

In a food processor, place all the Oreo cookies and process until it has turned into crumbs. In a bowl, place the crumbs and melted butter and mix together. Then grab your pie pan and place the crust mixture on top and begin to mold it on the bottom and sides of the pan.

For the filling, place all of the filling ingredients into a large bowl and beat it with an electric hand mixer until it is smooth and creamy. Then pour it into the pie and spread it evenly.

Drizzle your toppings on top of the pie and refrigerate it overnight. If you need it right away, an hour will do in the refrigerator but it’s best when it is kept overnight.

I took this to a party, and it was a hit! I omitted the caramel sauce all together, since it was super sweet already and topped it with broken up chocolate covered pretzels. The crunch and little bit of saltiness paired well with the peanut/chocolate flavours in the pie!

I made this pie tonight and we just finished off a couple of pieces! This pie is to-die-for delicious, and oh so easy to make! The Oreo crust was the perfect thickness and texture to hold in the no-bake cream mixture, and the cream mixture is the perfect consistency and chilled perfectly. I mimicked our local chocolate cafe and (using Smuckers Butterscotch Caramel) actually put the caramel on the bottom, on top of the crust but underneath the cream mixture. I then used dark chocolate chips as the topping. This was extremely rich, so a cup of coffee and a cup of milk are a must! My husband loved it, and we will definitely make this again!!! Thanks for posting!
