If you like tart pies, you’ll love this!
Preheat oven to 400 F.
Grease your favorite pie pan or plate.
Roll out one pie crust onto the bottom of the pie pan/plate.
Measure out prepared muscadines into a saute pan. (Please see my TastyKitchen recipe box for my “Prepared Muscadines” recipe). Simmer the muscadines on low heat. Don’t allow them to boil. You just want them warm. Sift in flour and stir together.
Pour mix into the pie shell and cover with the second crust. Pinch or flute the edges of your crusts together.
Cut vent holes in the top and bake for 30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Then remove from the oven and let pie set for 30 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

Who knew that you can make a pie from muscadine grapes! I was skeptical, but since moving into our new home and having an abundance of muscadines growing in the yard, I ventured into unknown territory. Well, I must say this pie is amazing and I will be making it again and again and again! Love it!
