I make this recipe on a regular basis and these little cakes are gone in a wink. The only complaint I’ve ever received is “why didn’t you make more?”

When I lived in Paris, my favorite restaurant served the most amazing molten chocolate cakes. I’ve spent years trying to replicate them, tried dozens of recipies, and this is the winner.
This recipe was shockingly simple and easy to make, and the results were delicious. It’s dense and rich like a flourless torte, with a moist and gooey center.

So simple & yummy! It’s very rich… so we usually stretch to 6 servings. Our 8y/o loves to make these and they are really quick & easy.

So, so, so delicious and easy. This has become my go-to dessert. Great with fruit, vanilla ice cream, or by itself.

I have made this several times at home. My boyfriend requests this on a regular basis. It is super easy and quick to make! Love it!

My husband said these are his new favorite! I was thrilled because they are so easy and wonderful. Great to make for company because they look like they were a lot of trouble. We have decided that we like it better with vanilla ice cream then whipped cream.

I made this for my hubby’s birthday in March because it was chocolate and it had just 4 servings (so no leftovers since we were trying to be on a diet). Not a crumb was left and I served it with fresh whipped cream. So quick and easy. Thanks!!!

I baked the cakes for 15 minutes, let cool for 2-3 minutes, but when I carefully inverted them onto a plate, the gooey center poured out before the rest of the cake. It was messy and ugly, but still tasty. Has anyone else found that these cakes need to be baked for way longer than 13-14 minutes?

Loved it! Made a small modification – I thought they were a bit sweet so I used 1 sq of bittersweet and 3 sq of semi. Also added a bit of salt and vanilla. Very excited to report these can be made and frozen in ramekins then popped into the oven while the coffee is being made – talk about a wow factor for a dinner party!

Loved these….I used 6-8 ounces of mini chocolate chips and they turned out perfect. I also divided into 5 as we have 5 family members. We did not invert them but simply added a scoop of vanilla ice cream and ate it right out of the custard cups. They were gone within 3 minutes of coming out of the oven!

I tried this last night, it sounded fun and easy. What a yummy treat. I suggest making sure that you use good quality chocolate since it is the start of this show. Delicious!

This dessert rocks! It is super simple and super delicious. If in need of something chocolate, this is definitely it. It gets a 10! Thanks for sharing!

I made these tonight, and they were soooo easy and yummy. Its a good thing I invested in some custard cups because I will be making these again and again!
I baked for 13 minutes, and the cakes did ooze out during the inversion process. I will probably bake a bit longer next time. Nonetheless, the ooze combined with the cake combined with the whipped cream was heavenly. The 4th one is in my refrigerator patiently waiting for me tomorrow. I don’t know if I can hold out till tomorrow, though!

This was so easy and delicious! It was like the eating most beautiful brownies and getting to lick the bowl at the same time!

Just popped these onto my plate… delicious!!! So easy to whip up, and I love that the recipe can be easily halved for a quick week-night dessert for me and my sweety. Thanks!

Oh. My. God. These are fabulous and so easy!
I made them last night and because there are three people in my family we had an extra. Usually when this happens everybody tries to be the martyr…”You can have it”, “No-YOU can have it”, and on and on. Not so with these. My husband asked my son if he wanted the last one and there was no back and forth, just an emphatic YES!
I think I’m going to have to make them again tonight.
Thanks brandielle-my family loves you!
