I make this recipe on a regular basis and these little cakes are gone in a wink. The only complaint I’ve ever received is “why didn’t you make more?”

When I lived in Paris, my favorite restaurant served the most amazing molten chocolate cakes. I’ve spent years trying to replicate them, tried dozens of recipies, and this is the winner.
This recipe was shockingly simple and easy to make, and the results were delicious. It’s dense and rich like a flourless torte, with a moist and gooey center.

So simple & yummy! It’s very rich… so we usually stretch to 6 servings. Our 8y/o loves to make these and they are really quick & easy.

So, so, so delicious and easy. This has become my go-to dessert. Great with fruit, vanilla ice cream, or by itself.

I have made this several times at home. My boyfriend requests this on a regular basis. It is super easy and quick to make! Love it!

My husband said these are his new favorite! I was thrilled because they are so easy and wonderful. Great to make for company because they look like they were a lot of trouble. We have decided that we like it better with vanilla ice cream then whipped cream.

I made this for my hubby’s birthday in March because it was chocolate and it had just 4 servings (so no leftovers since we were trying to be on a diet). Not a crumb was left and I served it with fresh whipped cream. So quick and easy. Thanks!!!

Thanks so much for this recipe! Made them the other night and thoroughly enjoyed them. Ours needed 14 minutes. I can’t wait to make these for friends!

Wonderful recipe. Both hubby and I enjoyed it.
I used Ghirardelli semi-sweet baking chocolate, instead of Baker’s and didn’t realize until later that Baker’s “squares” of chocolate are 1 oz, and Ghirardelli’s “squares” are only 1/2 oz. Whoops! It came out a little light on the chocolate part but still yummy and ooey-gooey.

I don’t know how this doesn’t have FIVE mitts because I can’t find a single complaint with it. It was easy and delicious. Possibly the yummiest thing I’ve ever made.

This really tamed my chocolate monster, and I didn’t think that could be done. Yum!

This is a brilliant recipe! It’s so easy that I could make this all of the time. I also happy to have a recipe that is a good amount for the 3 of us. No more grocery-store cakes here! We’re eating the leftover one for breakfast right now. Thanks!

I had to try this after PW posted it under “cooking”. All I can say is WOW! My hubby and I both love chocolate, and it was tough not to eat all 4 cakes at once — they managed to last 2 nights and were just as good leftover!

Just finished eating this amazing dessert with my husband and 2 year old son. We absolutely loved it! Soft, rich, gooey, with a little bit of crunch around the edge and of coarse topped with creamy vanilla ice cream. One cake is the perfect size. I used 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips which is about 4oz.
