Description

Tangy Greek yogurt is combined with sweet ripe mangoes in this light & refreshing springtime dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Peeled, Pitted And Chopped Very Ripe Mango
  • 1-½ cup 2% Greek Yogurt
  • ¼ cups Agave Nectar
  • ¼ teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
  • ½ Tablespoons Vodka, Optional (to Keep The Frozen Yogurt A Bit Softer In The Freezer)

Preparation

Yields four 1/2 cup servings.

Place the chopped mango into a food processor and puree until smooth. Add in the remaining ingredients and puree until well-mixed. Chill mixture in the refrigerator until cold.

Then freeze according to your ice cream maker manufacturer’s instructions.

Serve immediately as soft serve, or spoon into a freezer-safe container and place in freezer until “ripened” (hardened).

Mango is really a good fruit to add with. I also suggest all to try this recipe with strawberry or pineapple for an extra raw flavour

Of course I can’t leave well enough alone—had to change it up a little. I was afraid all that greek yogurt would be too tart, so I used 1 cup greek yogurt and 1/2 cup cream. Really really yummy.

This was awesome… My husband’s review was “We’ll never need to go to pink berry again!” :)

This was awesome.. I had extra chucks of mango so I tossed those in the frozen yogurt the last 2 minutes of churning.. I will make this again. Thanks

I thought this was good, but my husband also complained about the sweetness. I think I would make it again, but I would try increasing the amount of agave nectar.

Very good. Not really sweet (my husband was not thrilled with it but that doesn’t count!!)
