Description

A yummy light dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Yellow Cake Mix-18.9 Oz
  • 1 can Mandarin Oranges (15 Oz)
  • 4 whole Eggs
  • ¾ cups Oil
  • 1 package Frozen Cool Whip-8 Oz
  • 1 package Vanilla Pudding Powdered Mix-3 Oz
  • 1 can Crushed Pineapple-15 Oz

Preparation

Mix the cake mix, mandarin oranges, eggs, and oil together. Pour into a 13×9 pan and bake for 30 minutes in a preheated 325 degree F oven.

Make the icing by mixing the Cool Whip, vanilla pudding mix, and the pineapple together.

Make sure you wait and ice the cake when it’s completely cool.

I made this for my dad and fiance and it turned out great. I just did two things different, I used a can of cherries instead of pineapples. So it can be a nice combination of sweet and tart. Plus I added a cap full of vanilla extract to the cake mix. Otherwise its a great recipe!!
