Description

This recipe was given to a friend who gave it to a friend who gave it to me – from the Lancer’s Club in Dallas. It will make you want to slap your Mama!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces, weight Raisins
  • 2 ounces, fluid Brandy
  • 2 pints Sour Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg, Freshly Grated
  • 8 ounces, weight Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 pints Strawberries, Cored And Sliced

Preparation

Puree raisins and brandy in your handy dandy blender. Add sour cream, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar and blend until smooth. Ohhhhh the aroma!

Wash, core and dry strawberries. Place strawberries in individual parfait glasses and spoon the Romanoff sauce over the berries.

Serve and watch your guests swoon!
