Description

Delicious chocolate brownies with a smooth and creamy icing. The ULITMATE brownies!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE BROWNIES:
  • 1 cup Butter, melted
  • ½ cups Cocoa
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 4 whole Eggs, Beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1-½ cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • _____
  • FOR THE ICING:
  • ¼ cups Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons Milk
  • 3 Tablespoons Cocoa
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar

Preparation

Mix all ingredients for brownies. Pour into a greased 9×13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Let brownies sit for 5 minutes.

Melt butter in a small saucepan. Add milk and cocoa. Stir. Add salt, vanilla and powdered sugar. Stir until all lumps are gone. Spread over hot brownies. Delicious!

You must be warned this is an addictive sweet sweet (throw your body into a diabetic coma)sweet brownie recipe. When I first read the recipe I thought it sounded a little strange to put the icing on the brownies while they were still warm but after making the icing I completely understood. The icing is so thick it would not be spreadable if the brownies were not at least warm and you will be better off to put the icing on while the brownies are hot. Just out of the oven hot. Next time I make these (and believe me there will be many next times) I will cut the icing in half it is soooooo sweet. Allinicole1982 thanks for sharing such an awesomely easy recipe.
