Description

One-bowl flourless peanut butter brownies that have no added refined sugar, yet are filled with deep dark chocolate and peanut butter flavour!

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces, weight Dark Chocolate, Coarsely Chopped
  • 2 whole Large Eggs
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter, Creamy
  • ¼ cups Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • ¼ cups Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (dutch Process)
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ⅛ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.

Place chopped dark chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and microwave at 50% power, stirring every 30 seconds, until chocolate is almost completely melted. Continue stirring until completely melted. Let cool slightly.

In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, peanut butter, honey and vanilla until smooth. Add cocoa powder, baking soda and salt and stir until smooth. Stir in melted chocolate until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips.

Press brownie batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top. Bake for 18–20 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center come out with a few moist crumbs on it. Let cool completely before lifting out the brownies and slicing into squares.
